OUR FEATURE PARTNER
Sportball Edmonton
Sportball Edmonton and Special Olympics Alberta are teaming up to offer an integrated multi-sport program for youth
5-8 years old. The Sportball Edmonton x Special Olympics Alberta program is designed to be a place where athletes with
and without an intellectual or developmental disability play, learn, and explore physical literacy and the basics of sport
in a safe and inclusive environment.
The Partnership Program will run for 10 weeks in the spring, and includes sports such as hockey, soccer, basketball and
more. Fort this pilot, we only have one location. In the future, if the program format works for families, we will look to
expanding to more of the many program locations Sportball offers!
Program Details:
Sundays, Apr 6 - Jun 22, 2025
Time: 10:55 AM - 11:55 AM
Location: Orchards Residents Association - 4059 Orchards Drive SW, Edmonton, AB
Ages: 5 yrs - 8 yrs

Try-it Day
We are hosting a try-it day for this program, where we will have some equipment and parents can chat with coaches,
Sportball, and Special Olympics to see if it is a good fit.
If you'd like to join us at the try-it day, RSVP here: https://forms.office.com/r/hfUjJSq0Ub

recreation. Special Olympics Alberta is proud to support the enhanced development of youth
programming in the capital region and celebrate Sportball Edmonton for their commitment to
inclusion.
