Charity Event

The Special Olympics Calgary annual Golf Classic is back for its 25th year. The funds raised through the Golf Classic are directly put towards opening our doors to more athletes, creating new sport programs, increasing competition opportunities, and giving our community more quality sport and social experiences.

This year our goal is to raise $75,000 for our athletes and programming and we need your help! We would like to have all of our sponsors in place by May 31st.

The Special Olympics Calgary annual Golf Classic promises a fun day of golfing with good food, great company, and the perfect opportunity to make a difference. You can see first-hand the impact Special Olympics Calgary has for those with intellectual disabilities as you will be paired up with a Special Olympics athlete and local celebrity partner vying for the Herm Harrison memorial trophy. The course will feature a variety of experiences, refreshments, and activities to add to an already fun day of golfing.

7:00am - 7:30am REGISTRATION
7:50am Golfers meet on Driving Range
7:55am Opening Ceremonies
8:15am Golfers drive out to starting hole
8:30am Shotgun Start
8:30am - 2:00pm Golf, Lunch, Course Challenges and Activities
3:00am - Dinner: Athlete Introductions, Live Auction, Box draws, Team and Challenge Prizes awarded
5:00pm Event Concludes
