Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of gear and equipment do I need to have for practice?

For Outdoor Activities:
-Running Shoes
-Athletic clothing (pants, shorts, t-shirt, long sleeve, jacket)
-Water bottle     
-Sunscreen
-Sunblock
-Hat 

For Bowling:
-Athletic clothing
-Water bottle
-Bowling shoes (most alley's will provide for the athletes, however if you have your own, you are welcome to bring them!)
-Athletes are able to bring their own personal bowling balls if they wish.

Do you need experience to participate in this sport?

No! All new and returning athletes are welcome!

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Weather cancellations are determined on the day of the program. If severe weather is forecasted during program time, the program will typically be cancelled (thunderstorms, heavy smoke, etc.)

If the program does go ahead (ex. light rain), dress for the weather! Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and check the forecast.
