Special Olympics St. Paul

St. Paul hosted  the 25th Annual Conrad Jean Slo-Pitch Tournament held on St. Paul on August 27 and 28, 2011.

This was a true celebration of a quarter century of ball in St. Paul! Players from around the province as well as special guests from Saskatchewan came to compete, have fun, and rejoice in the milestone. MLA's, local community dignitaries, RCMP officials, and Kirk De Fazio, the new Special Olympics Alberta President and CEO, came to celebrate the amazing work that Conrad Jean and Donna Desjardins have been into this tournament.

St. Paul is now gearing up for their 24th Annual bowling tournament on April 28, 2012.

The 26th Annual Conrad Jean Slo-Pitch Tournament will be held on August 25 and 26, 2012 and we are challenging all teams to come and celebrate with us.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate in contacting Conrad Jean at 780-645-7430 or Donna Desjardins at 780-645-5516.

General Info

Bowling - Our bowling program starts on the first Wednesday of September and runs right up to our tournament in April each year. The Parallel Lanes Bowling Alley holds 48 bowlers and we are coming close to capacity. However, we always welcome new bowlers and volunteers- so come on down and join us

Special Olympics St. Paul also offers a slo- pitch program. Right now we have three teams all at different levels. We also host the Conrad Jean slo- pitch tournament every year on the last weekend of August. Every affiliate is invited to participate. On our 20th anniversary we had 20 teams come up from as far as Parson's, Kansas and Regina.

Starting November 07, 2011 we will also be offering a basketball progam in the gym of the old Ecole du Summet school on Monday nights starting at 6:00p.m. We are hoping to be able to attend a tournament in the new year. All athletes are welcome to attend!

Come show your support at any of our tournaments

We are also looking at starting new programs such as Floor Hockey, Powerlifting,  and Equestrian. Hopefully we can make these programs as successful as our bowling and baseball programs. If you have any interest in any of these, please let us know.
