LTAD

Definition
LTAD is an accronym that stands for Long-Term Athlete Development.

This eight-stage program is athlete-focused and guides training for athletes of all ages. The LTAD model acts as a framework for those who choose to stay "active for life" in community or recreational programs, or those who look to reach the podium in competitive training programs.

LTAD integrates the needs of athletes with a disability into the design and delivery of sport programs.
